Airport 5.17PM (Original Time)
this is a chronology of Ms Obesity misses her flight.
1.30PM
Ms Obesity and her father already packed up and went to the neighbour's house to get ready to go to the airport. They had lunch together and chit chat for a while before leaving to the airport.
2.50PM
Ms Obesity and her father, accompanied by the neighbour's son and also his grandfather depart from the house. For information, the son is used to be Ms Obesity good friend during childhood.
3.30PM
Arrival at the airport. They unload their luggages and straight went to the check-in counter. Then the panic started...
Ms MAS : Adik punya tiket dah kansel ni. Sepatutnya, time adik takleh nk join the flight from kl, adik kene bagitau reservation people yang adik tak join flight balik ke kb tapi balik dari kb ke kl adalah confirm.
Ms Obesity : Oh ya la kak. Saya hari itu balik lambat sedikit dari ayah saya. Dia ade cakap suruh re-confirm tiket balik. (Which I did).
Ms MAS : Hari ni flight penuh la, semua orang nak pegi haji. Kalau tak dah boleh bagi dah seat ni. So flight ni mmg penuh.
Ms Obesity : errrr... mmg dah takder cara ke saya nak naik flight ni...saya nak balik kak esok
keje. (still smiling and acting cool.)
Ms MAS : erm macam ni lah dik, akak letak adik dalam standby list dulu. Adik datang counter 6 around 4.10PM, then check lah kot kot ada orang kansel flight ke.
Ms Obesity : Okay...
So, Ms Obesity had told her father that she's in standby list. Father start to panic attack. Ms Obesity trying playing cool and smiling all the way. Hoping she could get in the 430PM flight. She asked her father to go in first. She know she'll be fine. She went back at the check-in counter. By this moment, she already panic because of not knowing what the future held for her. She started to make few checking with friends and at the same time try to think any possible way that she could get back on her flight without fork out any more money from her own pocket.
4.10PM
There's a few people in front me waiting to catch with the flight. They got the priority cause they sending people to haji. They managed to get in the 4.30 PM flight. Right after they all had check in, the standby counter closed. Father already inside the plane. Ms Obesity panic. Well consider this is the first time things like this happen. Thanks to Ms MAS, she advised Ms Obesity to check at the ticket counter whether she still can used the same booking for the next flight. For Ms Obesity, catching up with later flight have no problems at all. All she wanted is to go back to kl without forking out any more money from her pocket. With stress level is building up, he still managed to smile and laughing, and have the patient to wait while talking on the phone with her friends.
4.30PM
Ms Obesity reach to the ticketing counter. she try to negotiate with the Ms MAS 2 (you the man lah joe) to get on the next flight by explaining the whole situation.
The chronology of Sunday Story.
Ms Obesity just touch down from LCCT. She is totally blur because had not been sleeping the whole night on Saturday just because to catch up with the 745AM flight from LCCT. She just arrived from Kuching at 11 PM on Saturday and waiting for luggage for almost an hour. Then she decided not to go back because of long way going back and forth. She stayed at LCCT for the whole night. Then 7.00AM, she board the plane. After reaching Kota Bharu at 9.00AM, she straight away went to the MAS ticketing counter and saying that she need to confirm ticket. The guy at the counter just take a look at her itinerary paper and with confidence said that it's a confirm ticket. Ms Obesity who had not been sleeping the whole night had no idea about it and straight away went back home and doze off. Only then when she woke up, father told her about the ticket had need to be confirm because she didn't board the previous flight. She suspected, this going to be something wrong on the departure day..
Ms MAS 2 was really kind and helpful during the changing flight time. Ms Obesity can still used her old ticket to board next flight without fork out any money. Anyway, it was a communication breakdown that happened during confirmation the flight ticket. After a while she waiting at the counter, she finally got her boarding pass. THANK YOU!!!
thank you MAS for the best service. And thank you ALLAH for still loving me after all things I had done. Well all I can say is that, what ever shit happened, when u smile, and acting calm god will rewards us with something. Thank you thank you..any how.. please travel using MAS. U never know when or how you'll be stuck in problems, but I'm guessing if in other airlines, this should be a fuck up things.
